Located in the vibrant heart of Aquem, Margao, Goa, this 7835 sq.ft. residential project for client Salik Sayed is designed to enhance urban living. The stilt plus 4-storey apartment building maximizes space utilization, providing residents with well-planned homes that offer exceptional value. The strategic location ensures all amenities are within a 5-minute reach, catering to the convenience of modern urbanites. The planning phase thoughtfully considered furniture layouts to optimize space and functionality. A distinctive facade aims to create a landmark in the area, reflecting the lifestyle and needs of the user group. This project promises to blend functionality with aesthetics, setting a new standard for residential architecture in the city.
Our mission
Our mission as architects is to create spaces that harmonize with their surroundings while enhancing the living experience of their inhabitants. The design process for this project presented unique challenges due to the linear plot with a bottleneck entry, and the narrow width compared to its length. Adhering to Goan bylaws and considering the site's context added further complexity. Despite these constraints, we successfully designed an apartment building that met the client's requirements for residential units. The building's orientation was carefully planned to ensure that the apartment openings faced a serene forest area, avoiding direct views into nearby existing buildings. This approach provides residents with a sense of living within nature, even while being centrally located in the city.
