Villa Kavero
Gururaj and Rochelle are embarking on their first Airbnb venture with a scenic 2260 sq.ft plot in Navelim, Goa, near the serene River Sal. This location offers breathtaking views of the fields, river, and sunsets, with a distant glimpse of the developing city. The project aims to create a peaceful, off-beat retreat that seamlessly blends with nature, providing guests a tranquil escape from city life. The design will maximize the picturesque surroundings, ensuring each space offers a unique, rejuvenating experience, perfect for a relaxing vacation.
Our mission
Upon seeing the plot, we knew it was the perfect location to realize Gururaj and Rochelle's vision. The site’s natural beauty and context guided us to create a design that is simple yet harmonious with its surroundings. We proposed a two-layer roofing system that elegantly transitions into the roof overhang, maintaining a seamless aesthetic. Prioritizing a smaller building footprint, we incorporated numerous openings to connect the interior spaces with the exterior landscape. Additionally, we integrated a swimming pool adjacent to the living area, further blending the indoor and outdoor environments. Our mission was to design a serene, context-sensitive retreat that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the tranquility of the location.
